Clever Usage of Technology In Education

What is STEM: CUTIE?

Since we are still under the pandemic, home-based learning is implemented throughout the Philippines to ensure public health safety. Thus, in order to make home-based learning possible and effective, technology is involved. In addition, as STEM students, technology is a part of our field and therefore we also place concern in the correct and clever usage and application of technology in education. Moreover, it is not deniable that many people already know how to use modern world technologies but the question on how to use it cleverly still remains for most people.

To give you an example, the popular motto known as “Think Before You Click” is within the range of our campaign. This motto tells people and specially students to think thoroughly before posting something on the internet. Furthermore, moderating usage of technology is also part of our campaign because people that are too accustomed to use technology contributes in making the body unproductive and also contributes in making a person dependent which may later affect students when they return to traditional classes.

Did you know that?

There are more than 1 BILLION malware programs that could harm your computer! What's worse is that estimated 560,000 new pieces of malware are detected everyday. This means that if we lack knowledge on how to use technology properly, we will be at risk especially now that we apply usage of technology on our education system.
